I started off in hospitality in 2013 when I first moved to Scotland with an an events apprenticeship at a restaurant in the West End of Edinburgh. Here, I realised not only did I enjoy organising events, but that I was not half bad at this eventing stuff and all that it entailed so I soon moved onto a job with a hotel in East Lothian as an Event Coordinator, this is where I found my love for Weddings.

Since then I've worked with a range of venues, suppliers, and people around Scotland planning and coordinating everything from small intimate gatherings to weekend wedding extravaganzas. With this experience, love for all things weddings and longing to start my own thing, I finally made the leap - with maybe a shove from my husband - at the end of 2022 to create Pink Wellie Weddings.

Originally from Cambridge, I now live in the Scottish Borders with my husband Jack and two boys Arthur and Bryn. I've always loved planning and organising and always seem to be able to find a reason to make a spreadsheet or to help friends and family plan a special occasion and offer advice. When I'm not planning, all my free time is currently being taken up renovating an 1870's Victorian flat we bought at the end of 2023 which is in serious need of TLC and probably better DIYers!​
